Winter Spirit Week for IVA & CHS: Join us in celebrating our school spirit with a Winter Spirit Week that starts Monday, 12/4 through Friday, December 12/8. Here are the daily themes. Participate by dressing up or changing your zoom background:
- Monday, 12/4- Holiday Sweater Day- Wear ugly holiday sweater or other holiday wear
- Tuesday, 12/5 - Cozy Tuesday- Wear scarves, plaid, or flannel
- Wednesday, 12/6- Winter Wonderland Wednesday- Wear white or other winter attire
- Thursday, 12/7- New Years Eve Thursday- Wear fancy clothing to ring in the new year.
- Friday, 12/8- Movie Night Friday- Dress as your favorite character in your favorite holiday movie
Winter Movie Night hosted by IVA ASB/CHS Leadership: Join us for a Holiday Movie Night at the end of our Spirit week. Click here for the flyer. Send your permission slip to Mrs. Nguyen (for IVA) at briannanguyen@iusd.org and Ms. Bernier (for CHS) at esmebernier@iusd.org by Thursday, December 7. A permission slip is required for attendance.
- When: Friday, 12/8 from 5:00-7:00PM
- Where: Creekside High School MPR
- Who: All IVA Students (7-12) and CHS students are welcome to attend for free
- What: We will be showing Nightmare Before Christmas for High School Students and Home Alone for Middle School Students. Free popcorn and hot chocolate will be provided to all students. Bring $5 cash for pizza and a drink (free with ASB card).
Operation-Santa Claus for IVA & CHS: ASB and Creekside Leadership are hosting the Operation Santa Claus Toy Drive that is happening from 12/4-12/15. You can donate new, unwrapped toys at Creekside School during school hours to bring hope and joy to children this winter through the Orange County Social Services Agency. There will be two boxes waiting for people to drop off toys at Creekside Education Center. You can bring child-friendly toys like legos, plushies and educational toys!
